08 Apr Links Electrical Invests In its Renewables Range in Merthyr Tydfil
Links Electrical Supplies Ltd is a leading electrical wholesaler with 12 branches across Wales and the Borders region. Following a recent investment by the company’s directors, the renewable energy range has been extended to include Solar PV and Battery Chargers, Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers as well as energy efficiency products such as LED lighting and heating.

Andy Guy, Managing Director, Links Electrical Supplies Ltd says: “The energy price hikes due this year mean customers are looking at renewables again. There may not be any Feed-In Tariffs available today but Solar PV, with the cost of full systems and batteries 50% lower than 10 years ago, and with the Chancellor’s recent announcement of 0% VAT on renewables, makes a lot of financial sense both as a cost saving and investment project.”
Links Electrical supplies the full range of market leading brands such as SolaX, EV Project, Garo and others all available from stock across the Links branch network.
The Merthyr Tydfil branch opened just 2 months ago and has been going from strength to strength under the management of Steve Williams and Ryan Hagerty who have over 50 years of Electrical Wholesaling experience between them.
“We have an extensive product range in stock and pride ourselves in providing unparalleled customer service with delivery service available twice daily” says Steve Williams, Branch Manager, Merthyr Tydfil. “If you haven’t visited us yet, we would like to invite you for a coffee at the branch maybe during one of our supplier events that we run regularly. And on 21st July, we are running a Calibration Open Day with six of our manufacturers demonstrating their latest products”.
Links Electrical welcomes both public and trade customers and the Merthyr Tydfil branch is located at the Pant Industrial Estate, Dowlais.
